Mt.Kilimanjaro, standing at 19,344 feet, is a dominant volcano and its height can be scaled without real difficult.Of the various routes to reach the sammit, the Marangu route along lush forests and exotic scenery, is the easiest,while Shira.Machame,Umbwe and Rongai are more challenging. A round trip takes about 4-6 days. A day trip toZebra rock, from Horombo. is an added attraction if taking the Marangu route.
